The concrete could be walked on in a couple of days, and I could start on the work needed around the edges. Here is the upper end of the walk leading to the steps between the raised gardens along the side of the house as Ian created it as a teenager. This section had to be redone to raise it up a couple of inches and realign it to meet the new concrete.
